Puppy classes

Where are our classes?

Puppy classes are held at the Park Hill recreation ground building in Kidlington on Monday evenings. It is a four week course for puppies up to 20 weeks old

If you are not yet ready to book and would like to go on the waiting list for the next course of puppy classes, please send an email to Caz at cazandcodogs@gmail.com

We also offer occasional puppy socialisation sessions which are held in an outdoor secure field in Yarnton. You do not need to attend the classes to book this session.

Puppy training classes

What do we cover?

During this course, your puppy will learn how to focus on you and settle in the presence of other people and dogs. We will work on impulse control around food, toys, dogs and people and we will start to look at the foundations for loose lead walking and recall.

We will discuss the importance of socialisation; what it really means and show your puppy how to greet people and other dogs politely.

If you would like to continue training with us after the 4 weeks there will be opportunities to do so.

Check out what's coming up on our services page.

Train your puppy in a class environment

Our aim...

Our aim is to give your puppy the best chance of coping in real life situations as they grow and to help avoid unwanted behaviours in the future.

We aim to cover socialisation, life skills (such as managing impulse control) and basic obedience.

We will also focus on building your puppy's confidence.

We keep it light, fun and there is no pressure for your dog to "perform". This is a safe space with zero judgement.

Children are welcome and will be encouraged to get involved with the training (5+ or if younger, with an extra accompanying adult)
